Merriment and Magic

Alright, this post covers the last of November and the first few days of December.  :o)

On Friday, November 28th, the kids got to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival with Tia!

And I have a million pictures of their epic day.  :o)

We took Joshua once when he was little, but otherwise it was everyone's first time.

Whad up fool??

Can you believe he did this??

And Evelyn did it too!
There's a video of this tomfoolery over on Facebook, and once I get the file, or figure out how to share it here, I will.  :oO

The following pictures are of Joshua and Matthew repeatedly attempting to climb the Jacob's Ladder.
I apologize for there being so many pics, but seriously, I couldn't stop laughing at them all!

:oD

Haha!  So cool.

The Falconer!

They got to shoot cross bows too!

Except Emily, she fished for ducks.  :o)

They look like they're having waaaay too much fun with those Chinese throwing stars...

Fire the cannons!

What an awesome adventure!

Later, we attended Logan's birthday party.

And the kids got to spend time playing with everybody.

:o)

Emily even rode a pony!

Lol.

Quick selfie with Mommy and Daddy.
:o)

And then the kids got to help decorate Lita and Epa's Christmas tree.

Very cool!  :o)

And then the day finally arrived...
Emily's Birthday Party!
Anna Evelyn was very excited.  :o)

And what an EPIC Frozen birthday party it was!

Seriously, a good time was had by all.

How many people does it take to hang up a pinata?
The world may never know.  ;o)

And then, surprise of surprises...
Elsa and Anna showed up!!

And those girls didn't know what to think!
But they were all smiles.  :oD

Awwwwwwww.

:o)

Those kids were completely captivated.

Oh hey Joshua!  What are you doing here?
"Begging you to let me leave and return to my video games..."
Oh, go ahead then.
;o)

Wow.  Just wow.

Happy Birthday to Emily!

She had a blast!  Everyone had a blast!
And no, we will never top this party, ever... oh well.  :oD
Thank you to all our family and friends who made this day happen for her (and all the kids).  I'm not a fan of the big party thing, but this was pretty incredible for our little Elsa, so yeah, thanks.

The next day, we headed home, and Emily happily opened all her presents.

And Ivy helped.
:o)

Back to gymnastics!
:o)

This girl lost another tooth!
So she ended up having 2 teeth to put under pillow.
(Cuz somehow we completely forgot there was a tooth hanging on the refrigerator for the past month... oops!)  :o)

Ivy was so happy to have us home after we were gone over the Thanksgiving break.

:o)

Back to the Library!

Doing the Hokey Pokey.

And she made an Angel ornament.

:o)

On December 4th, Emily and I went to a Science "Play-date" on base.
She was quick to raise her hand when they asked, "Who likes snowflakes?"

She had a lot of fun playing with the other kids, and we learned how to make our own snowflakes using "Crystal Formation" at home.
Which we totally did!
But those pics will be on the next post.  :o)

We had to take Joshua to the orthodontist because someone thought it would be a good idea to wrestle with his brother, get stuck on his brother's shirt, and yank half the wire and a bracket out of his mouth trying to get free.  :oO  :oP
After his appointment, he took a selfie in the car on the way home so he could see how his teeth looked with new bands, so I found this picture on my phone.  :oD

And then we did some grocery shopping.

:o)

That was just 4 weeks ago and already I have soooo many more pics to share.  :oD

I'll get right to work!  ;o)  Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!  Be safe!

Laters!
