Well, it's been quite a while since I was able to share pictures and events on this blog. From Chris being gone so often to the madness of high school marching band to me going back to college to snag a bachelor's degree - this past year has been a tough one. But, we are good.
And now WE ARE MOVING! Right in the middle of the chaos, God has thrown us a fastball and said, Let's go! Chris has been selected for a special assignment to Ketchikan, Alaska! So after just 2 years in Charleston, we are packing up and moving up north this summer, back to the scene of Chris' first duty station 19 years ago... We are all really excited for the change, but also really sad to be leaving unexpectedly. Over the next couple of months, we will finish up the school year, pack up our house, and (eventually) I will get caught up on posting pics here!
Over the past year, the kids have all been doing great in school, excelling in their courses (nearly all A's for everyone all year long!), and having lots of fun with their extracurricular activities.
Joshua is now a sophomore, Evelyn a freshman, Matthew in 7th grade, and Emily in 1st. I'm a senior (ha!) and expect to graduate this
Enjoy the pics, forgive me for a lack of details, I've got nearly 18 months of catching up to do! And thank God for all the blessings and opportunities we have had to smile and grow during our time here. :o)

Most posts will likely contain the same pictures you've seen on Facebook, but I'd really like to get this blog updated so we can share and remember all of our best moments from the past couple of years. Wish me luck. ;o)
