Marching Right Along

Alrighty - and here is March's moments and pictures.

Kitty Cat Love

Ha!

Matthew has been learning how to code on the computer lately.
Yes, for real!
Here is a quick video of what he's been working on.

:o)

Happy Dr. Seuss Day!
:o)

Evie worked super-hard on her Comic Strip Project for Social Studies.

Seriously, she did so very well.
:o)

On March 4th, Chris headed out to Charleston to report in to his new unit.
He made the trip safely and is now busy with his new ship and crew.

On the same day, this old pic showed up in my Timehop app.
The older picture was taken a couple days after he got back from a 3 month patrol.  And now it'll be 3 months before we can join him in South Carolina.  *le sigh*  It's a long time, but it's alright.  We can do this.  Keep us all in your prayers.  :o)

Emily and I made some play-doh creations.
I made the snail, butterfly, and spider.
She made their food - a fish, a taco, and a cheeseburger.

:o)

Craft Day on base again - painting Bunny Banks!

And Matthew joined us too.  :o)

Nice work guys.

Matthew got a jello-jigglers Star Wars set.

And created the best jigglers ever!

Nice job!

Okay seriously, this hair is getting a little ridiculous.
:oP

Matthew's also really into creating these "stick bombs".
Check out this video!

Our princess, aka Sleeping Beauty.

And here's our little bass player.

She's so awesome.

Matthew has also been having fun with dominos.
Check out this video.
:o)

And yes!  He lost another tooth!
That's like 4 in the past month.  :oP

Happy St. Patrick's Day from this little elf!

So Matthew put together another contraption - a radio!
Check it out:

And then later that day, he made a special contraption just for my birthday.

So cool!
Thank you my boy.  :o)

Happy Birthday to Mommy.  :o)

We had a great lazy day.

On the 19th, Joshua and Evelyn finally got to use their Christmas present - Concert tickets to see Fall Out Boy and Awolnation!
But first, dinner at Blaze Pizza.  Yum!

This was their first concert, and they were soooo ready.

The show was fantastic and loud.

Evelyn can't wait to go to another concert!
Joshua says he had fun, but he's good for now.  Ha!  ;o)

We've watched a couple of football-themed movies lately (The Blind Side and The Waterboy) so Emily said she was going to start drawing out some football plays.
Haha - yeah, she was pretty proud of herself.  ;o)

Okay, so last month, Joshua came to me and said, "I'm going to try out for the Tennis Team".  I said, "Uh... you don't know how to play Tennis..."
He said, "That's okay, they said they'll teach us."
So he tried out, and he made the team.
So Joshua plays Tennis now!
And not only does he play, he's actually really good!
He coach says that Joshua is very athletic, and on the 22nd, his doubles team won their very first match!  Go Joshua! :oD

On the 23rd, Emily had her Pre-K Easter Egg Hunt.
And yes, she made that shirt herself.

Then we went home and washed Daddy's truck.
Chris took my car with him to Charleston, so we have the new (more reliable) vehicle to take care of, and yeah, we felt bad that it was looking so dirty on the outside (and the backseat may or may not have been full of popcorn...) But it's all pretty now!  :oD

On the 25th, the kids began their Easter and Spring Break!
Time to visit Houston and this lovely chick again.
Yeah, she loves me.

And it was Uncle Boy's birthday, so they donned their Star Wars party masks.

Ha!  :o)

Awww, it's a baby Chewie!  ;o)

Baby Bella liked the Easter card that we got her.

And to get ready for the big hunt on Sunday, we dyed tons of eggs.

Beautiful girls, ready for church.

Happy Easter!

Quick cat nap before the hunt.

Let's find those eggs!

The big boy could reach the top of the fence this year.

:o)

:oD

Confetti egg fight!

Even the baby wasn't safe.

What a wonderful day.

Sleepy Emmy borrowed Maw Maw Gregory's shoulder on the ride home.

And then we stuck the Baby Bunny in a basket.

She liked it a lot more than we thought she would.
Hehe. :o)

Emily got in a basket too.
Ha!

The next day, the kids helped Epa plant his garden at church.

:o)

On the 29th, we spent way too much time at Barnes and Noble.
Or maybe it was just the right amount of time.

:o)

Then we took a road trip to find us some bluebonnets.
:o)

But then, this goat, man this goat just BLEETED as loud as can be and all the kids jumped, were slightly scared, and then broke into hysterics.

Funniest thing EVER.  :oD

We even stopped in Chappel Hill for some sausage.
Awesome little trip.  So glad we went.  :o)

On the 31st, we got to watch our God-daughter all day.
And Emily is such a good help with Bella, always wanting to check on her and talk to her.  :o)

And that it's for our March.  Yay - I'm caught up!  (for now.  :oP)  Chris is doing very well in Charleston, busy, but doing good.  And as soon as the kids and I get back to New Orleans, we have to start packing!  Wish us luck.

Laters!
