Fab Feb

Hello - Here's February!

Matthew is getting really good with these machines he's building.
:o)
Check out this video!

On February 2nd, Joshua and Evleyn marched in the base parade,
Krewe of Plaquedilla.
Don't smile at me Evelyn!

I can't believe he can march with that giant bari-sax and not fall over!  :oP

Here's a short video (sorry the sounds not great):

Matthew enjoyed the parade too.  :o)

On the 3rd, Emily celebrated her 100th Day of School...
By dressing up as a 100 year old!

Goodness, that's the cutest 100 year old I've ever seen.  ;o)

Evelyn and Emily made shoebox floats for the Krewe of Christianity at our church.
The theme was your favorite Bible story.
Emily did the Nativity, and Evelyn did Jonah and the Whale.

:oD

Matthew lost another tooth!
It seems like the teeth are just falling out of his head lately. ;o)
By the way, not sure if you noticed his long hair, but both the boys have been on a haircut-strike for the past couple of months, saying they love having long hair...  Eh, I'm not a fan.  :oP  ;o)

Emily had a Pre-K Parade at her school.
She decided to call her float the "Krewe of Cats"!

:oD

Yes, she threw beads and stuffed animals!  And had so much fun.  :o)

Whad up fool? :'oD

On the 5th, we went uptown to watch the Krewe d'Etat and Krewe of Morpheus parades.
And we had a fantastic time.

Joshua got tired and decided to nap.

So Matthew helped me decorate him.
:o)

What a great night.  :o)

On February 6th, those band nerds marched in the Krewe of Isis.

And Lita came to visit and watch them go.

Sorry I didn't get better pics, but they ended up winning 3rd Place that night!  Woohoo!

Emily gave me an early Valentine's Day card.

:oD

On the 8th, the band marched again in the Krewe of Pandora -
and this time, they won 1st Place!

We are so proud and so happy for them!  :oD

Matthew and Emily enjoyed flying his quadcopter around the house.

:o)

Sweet Ivy.
(as opposed to the Evil Ivy she usually is.)  ;o)

Dental check-ups for all - and no cavities!

Chris had his last day of work here in New Orleans on the 12th.
He received an Achievement Medal (his 5th!) and got this awesome farewell gift oar as well.
:o)

Uh... yeah.  Ha!  :o)

Craft day on base for Emily (the other kids decided to sleep in).

She made a pillow!

:o)

Watch out - it's Sniper-Kitty!

Happy Valentine's Day!

:oD

On the 17th, Emily's class took a field trip to Lowe's.

After lots of hammering (and more noise than I ever want to hear again) she made a frame!
She had a lot of fun building it herself, and was excited that they let her keep the apron and hammer.  :o)

Daddy took Emily to a friend's birthday party and they came back with these awesome pics.
Haha!  :o)

On the 20th, Evelyn got to attend the Monster Truck Rally with her friend at the Superdome.

She had a really great time and we're so glad she got to go.  :o)

The kids helped out with Bingo at the Nursing Home with my Navy Wives Club again.

:o)

Here are a couple of videos of the girls at gymnastics.
Emily Gymnastics 2.22.16

:o)

And here's another video of Matthew's latest robotics invention.
It walks!
:oD

On the 26th, we made a trip to Houston to celebrate Isabella's Baptism.
Dude, she fits right in!

Wow - what a big family!

Bella has so many cousins.  :o)

Whad up fool?!
(I'm starting her gangsta lessons young.)  :oD

Goodness, this girl already has so many people in love with her.

Yep, we're in love.

And that was February.  :o)

Laters!
