Rainy Break and the Blue Fauxhawk

Well, the kids' Spring Break was pretty much filled with games, homework, and more games.  We never had any nice "Spring" weather for our break, so we took it pretty easy.  But we still had a great week hanging out together.  Here are a few pics from our lazy week.  :op

I apologize in advance for how many pictures of Emily that I have vs. the other kids.  But she's the only one who'll pose for me and not run away!  (or just can't run away, haha.)

Monday:

"Okay, I know this thing turns on the cartoons,
but which button do I push first?"

Trying on a headband

Tuesday:

"I love playing in this thing!"

Taking advantage of the extra game time :oP

Okay, I found this on the floor:
It reads: Captain apple nugget head lies here

I'm guessing it was Joshua that made this, and while I don't know why he made it, that's one angry-looking apple (nugget-head-thing).

Have you heard of baby legs?  They're basically super-cute leg warmers for babies.  And let's face it - it's freakin' cold here!  So my baby is always in pants.  But Baby Legs cost $10-12 before shipping...

So we made our own!
Hehe, Target's womens' socks only cost $1.
After a little cutting and sewing (and some directions I found online)
we have our own baby legs!  :o)

Wednesday:

She really likes eating this doll

Look!  More baby legs!

Awesome sisters

Thursday:

Joshua says, "May the force be with you Emily."
Emily says, "How can I eat this?"

Friday:

Evie's been begging me to let her try to carry Emily.  I let her hold her while standing for just a minute.
Haha, they went straight to the mirror to check themselves out.

I found the Easter Bunny!

Saturday:

C is for Coast Guard  :o)

And E is for Easter Duckies!

Sunday:

Girl wouldn't look at me cuz she was staring at those crazy kids.

Probably because Matthew looked like this:
*GASP*

That's what I get for dropping Chris off with the boys to get their hair cut!  Haha, jk.  No, Matthew's hair isn't cut like that, just styled into a mohawk (fauxhawk).  However, he did ask if he could keep the top part long so that he could make it into a mohawk.

Like I said, crazy kids.

(PS - the blue washed out of his hair in the shower tonight.)
Laters!  ;o)
